Back to the Future – The Musical

A favorite musical is appearing in several locations in Southern California!!!!

We encourage all enthusiasts to come and see one of the performances.

The formal opening on Los Angeles is happening November 6th at the famous Pantages Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

The opening in Orange County will be on December 26th at the Segerstrom Hall for the Arts in Costa Mesa.

After Orange County, the next venue will be San Diego in January at the San Diego Civic Theater.

Our club is negotiating with ALL venues for our participation and attendance. (Watch the media for activity at the Pantages!)

On Election Day, we will meet up at Doc Brown’s Mansion to celebrate a red letter day in the history of time travel –

Doc Brown: Here’s a red-letter date in the history of science, November 5, 1955. Yes, of course, November 5, 1955.

Marty McFly: What, I don’t get what happened.

Doc: That was the day I invented time travel. I remember it vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porces was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink. And when I came to I had a revelation, a picture, a picture in my head, a picture of this.

This is what makes time travel possible. The flux capacitor!

Marty: The flux capacitor?

Doc: It’s taken me almost thirty years and my entire family fortune to realize the vision of that day, my god has it been that long.

We shall meet up at Doc Brown’s Mansion (around the year 2024 (which is surprisingly similar to the historic Gamble House, operated by the University of Southern California.)

As we do not anticipate having any spare Plutonium, vehicle movement of any kind MUST be scaled back to “8.8” miles per hour. This lower speed works using the well known formula developed by Doctor Emmett Brown, as shown on page 347 of the “Guide to Orbital Mechanics”, fifth edition, repeated here for clarity.
